Mezz Cap adds CFO and additional staff...

Mezz Cap recently hired Todd Hermanson as Chief Financial Officer, Anthony Andolino as Assistant Controller and Cathlene Banker as Vice President of Contracts & Structured Finance to support the Company’s growth initiatives.

Todd Hermanson joined the firm in April 2007 to head the Corporate Finance & Risk Management Division.  Mr. Hermanson was previously with Duke Energy where he was a Vice President of Risk Management, responsible for the risk management organization covering Duke Energy’s regulated operations and global merchant activities.  Prior to the merger of Duke Energy and Cinergy Corporation, Mr. Hermanson was a Vice President of Global Risk Management for Cinergy Corporation where he was responsible for their market and credit risk management, risk analytics, and corporate risk management departments, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer.

Before joining Cinergy Corporation, Mr. Hermanson worked for The New Power Company as their Chief Credit Officer.  Mr. Hermanson has also held similar risk management positions at Phibro Inc., a subsidiary of Solomon Brothers, as Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Credit Officer.  He also previously held real estate lending positions at Sumitomo Bank Limited as Assistant Vice President of Structured Finance, and Connecticut Bank & Trust Company as Assistant Vice President of Commercial Real Estate.

Mr. Hermanson is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) designation.

Anthony Andolino, CPA, assists with the managing and reporting of all of Mezz Cap’s financial activities.   

Prior to joining Mezz Cap, Mr. Andolino worked as the U.S. Controller for Mercer Human Resource Consulting, a division of Marsh & McLennan.  Previous to Mercer, Mr. Andolino held finance and auditing positions with J.D. Edwards, The MONY Group and Deloitte & Touche.

Cathlene Banker assists in the closing of structured finance transactions as well as other legal aspects of Mezz Cap’s loan programs. 

Prior to joining Mezz Cap, Ms. Banker was an associate with Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, in Iselin, NJ, where she was a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department and Banking, Business Financing & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group.
